CRM software development services for teams that have outgrown spreadsheets and templates
Our CRM software development services turn scattered sheets and bent-out-of-shape templates into one system that searches, segments and reminds your team for you. We build for construction, accounting, mortgage, financial services and travel businesses across the UK, and core features go live in the first month.

When a spreadsheet or template CRM stops working
We built our first custom CRM for our own business, after years of spreadsheets and a detour through Odoo. The cracks we hit are the ones we see in every client:
- No real search. Finding a client means scrolling, not searching.
- No systematic follow-up. Clients slip through because nothing prompts anyone to reach back out.
- Data scattered across dozens of files, one per session, month or year, none of them linked.
- No segmentation. "Every client from last year who wasn't satisfied" means going file by file.
- Every change is a project. On packaged platforms, one new dropdown option becomes a quote and a wait.
What our CRM software development services build, feature by feature
Which features come first depends on you. These are the building blocks we combine most often.
Client database and search
Every contact, deal and history in one place, found in seconds, with the fields your business really uses.
Segments and filters
Pull any group in two clicks: last year's unhappy clients, this month's no-shows, every lead from one region.
Follow-up queues
The CRM tells your team who to call today, and tracks confirmed, missed and callback outcomes.
Automated reminders
SMS, email or message reminders sent on schedule, so confirmed clients don't quietly forget.
Pipeline dashboards
See where every prospect stands across the whole pipeline, and how each team member performs.
Payments, calendars and surveys
Added once the core is stable: payment tracking, follow-up calendars, satisfaction surveys.
Construction CRM, accounting CRM, mortgage CRM and more
Five sectors where template CRMs rarely fit the way work is sold and delivered.
- Construction CRM
Tenders, sites and subcontractors
Leads, tenders, projects by site, subcontractor contacts and follow-ups, instead of a sales pipeline made for software companies. Ready to connect to your ERP later.
- Accounting CRM
Clients and their deadlines
Onboarding, engagements, filing deadlines, service tiers and reminders, so every client is contacted before a deadline, not after.
- Mortgage CRM
Cases that don't stall
Applicants, cases, lenders, documents and product-expiry dates, with reminders that bring clients back before their deal ends.
- Financial services CRM
Reviews and permissions
Clients, products, annual reviews and compliance notes together, with each role seeing only what it should.
- Travel CRM
Every trip in one record
Enquiries, quotes, bookings, suppliers and payments per trip, plus follow-ups that turn one holiday into the next.
- Law firms
Matters and referrals
CRM systems for law firms that track matters, referrers and key dates next to each client relationship.
Why we stopped bending templates
We used Odoo before building our own CRM. The pattern was: describe your needs, wait for a version, then quote and wait again for every small change. Adding one missing region to a location dropdown, after noticing a real cluster of clients from an area that wasn't listed, became its own mini-project.
With a custom CRM, that change takes about an hour. HubSpot and Pipedrive remain great for standardised operations, like a call centre. When your process is specific and still evolving, custom wins. As a CRM consultant, we will tell you which side you are on before you spend anything.
Template CRM
- Generic fields you work around
- Changes via tickets and quotes
- Per-user pricing that grows
- Features you never use
Custom CRM
- Your fields, your pipeline stages
- Small changes in about an hour
- No per-user licence fees
- Only the features you need

A CRM is a database and an interface. We start with the database.
The database is only as good as how deeply we understood your workflow. We can spend a full week in your operations before writing a line of schema, because undoing a wrong assumption later costs far more.
- Days 1–5
We live your days
We sit in on real work, play your customer, and message your own channels with hard requests on purpose to see where the process strains.
- Month 1
Two or three core features
We ship the features that remove the most manual work, and you validate them with your real team.
- Months 2–6
The snowball
Each new feature answers a real request from daily use, in the order that pays back fastest.
- After launch
We stay close
About one request a month until the system is mature, then monthly missions whenever you need more.
What our CRM software development services cost
These figures come from our own CRM projects. Smaller operations often land nearer £6,000 in total rather than £12,000.
The payback is concrete. A 10–20% response rate on follow-up is a strong number: on £100,000 a year, that is an extra £10,000–15,000, purely from being able to come back to people a spreadsheet made too hard to track.
| Stage | Timeline | Investment |
|---|---|---|
| Starter: one workflow | 2–4 weeks | £1,000–2,000 |
| Core CRM | ~1 month | ~£3,000 |
| Working version | ~3 months | ~£6,000 |
| Mature version | ~6 months | £6,000–12,000 |

Frequently asked questions
Discovery inside your operations, database design, the CRM interface, imports from your spreadsheets or old system, integrations (email, SMS, calendars, accounting), training and light ongoing support. Core features are live in about a month.
We are small and hands-on. The developers on your first call build your CRM, we start with two or three features you can judge us on, and a small change after launch takes about an hour instead of a ticket and a quote.
Leads and tenders, projects by site, subcontractor contacts, quotes and follow-ups, all searchable in one place. A custom construction CRM can also connect to your construction ERP when you are ready.
Yes. An accounting CRM tracks each client's engagements, deadlines and service tiers; a mortgage CRM tracks applicants, cases, lenders, documents and renewal dates. Both run on reminders, so no client or remortgage date is missed.
Yes. A travel CRM links enquiries, quotes, bookings and suppliers per trip; a financial services CRM keeps clients, products, reviews and compliance notes together with the right permissions for each role.
From our CRM projects: about £3,000 for core features in month one, about £6,000 for a genuinely good version at month three, then about £1,000 a month to a mature system at six months (£6,000–12,000 in total). A small CRM around one task can start at £1,000–2,000.
